La storica Fiera di Marzo a Fumane

Here is the schedule for the 2025 edition of the Old Fumane March Fair, to be held March 14-17!

Friday, March 14

• 7.00 p.m., inauguration of “Art in Valpolicella” exhibition at the council chamber
• 8:30 p.m., Review of Fumanesi Choirs at the municipal theater

Saturday, March 15

• 1:30 p.m., meeting for the non-competitive march “Parco Valpolicella” in collaboration with Valporun group along three routes of about 14km, 11km, 6km. Registration fee of 5€ including refreshments and March fair gadgets; departure 2:00 p.m. from Piazza IV Novembre. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
• 3:00 to 6:00 pm - educational farm with magnificent animals : donkey, pony, alpaca, baby goats and rabbits will offer visitors, especially children, a unique opportunity to interact with animals in an educational and fun way.
• From 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. - “Seeds in Cardboard” workshop.
• From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. - Mountain Bike & Cross Trial Eagles MTB Team.
  From 5:00 p.m. - children's snack; from 6:00 p.m. - appetizer and refreshments with with DJ Albertz & JNiz

Sunday, March 16

• 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Traditional Handicrafts and Local Products Market; exhibition of Fumane wineries with the opportunity to have a tasting of Valpolicella wines.
• 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Plowing demonstration with vintage tractors
• 9:30 a.m. Guided hike by CTG Valpolicella. It is a 5 km route that lasts 2h 30. Meeting point is in front of City Hall; the initiative is free, although reservations are recommended at 3495923868
• 10 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. Bell ringers of Fumane performance at the parish church
• 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Park of the Associations with workshops and demonstrations for all
  10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Seed and seedling exchange by the Habitat Association (CLICK HERE TO REGISTER)
• 10:30 a.m. Opening of food stands until the evening
• 12:30 p.m. Blessing of the tractors
• From 2:30 p.m., in Via Roma, Ludobus with wooden games - Hermete
• 10:00 a.m.-12:00 a.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m. the Baptism of the Saddle will be held by “le Corone” Riding School
• 12:00 a.m.-5:00p.m. there will be live bands to entertain with their music
• Throughout the day, the songs of the Cantori de la Val group will resound in Piazza IV Novembre and through the streets of the village
• 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the council chamber there will be a land convention

Monday, March 17

• 9.15 a.m. in the council chamber of the municipality of Fumane will hold a meeting on the value of biodiversity and agriculture in land preservation. CLICK HERE FOR THE PROGRAM OF THE MEETING
• 12 a.m. - opening of food stands
