Talestri is a modern winery driven by the determination of women winemakers which its story tells
through two identity elements: territory and family.
A unique environment is the first feature of Talestri.
The estate resides in a small spot of volcanic origin in Valpolicella: a mineral rich soil and the cold
breezes coming from the Lessini Mountains give to the native grapes cultivating among our cellar
a nice freshness and sapidity.
The ancient history of Marcato’s family and its long tradition in the sparkling production handed
down from Francesco to his daughters - Lisa, Francesca and Anna - has met the grapes of
Valpolicella. The result is a freshness and creativity interpretation in a land of great red wines.
From the union of these elements, the Talestri - Emozioni da degustare was born which is told
through the prestigious wines of Valpolicella, Amarone, Ripasso and Valpolicella Superiore,
accompanied by elegant sparkling wines made by champenoise method.

The wine experience and tasting at Talestri is a journey into the emotions to live the land of
Valpolicella in an authentic way, accompanied by the expertise and passion of the Marcato family.
The philosophy of Talestri is based on the concept of wine as a way to celebrate, enhance and
make any moment of your life memorable.
From this idea, each bottle of wine contains a name of an emotion to tell enthusiasts and wine
lovers the sensations of those who put body and soul into its production.
The winery and its hospitality staff is open to welcome small groups, families with children (kids
tasting available on request) and groups of up to 25/30 people.
