The Farmer's Market

Every Friday afternoon, from 4 to 7 p.m., the Farmers' Market event is renewed, transforming the simple shopping experience into a time of sharing and culture. This weekly event is not only a chance to shop for fresh, wholesome produce, but also an opportunity to immerse oneself in a community and participatory setting.

The Farmers' Market offers much more than fruits, vegetables and other local produce. Each month, there will be cultural sharing activities and discussion time with local producers. It will be an opportunity to discover the secrets of growing crops, learn new recipes, talk about sustainability and build a dialogue between consumers and producers together. The event aims to strengthen the bond between people and the land, creating a community that is aware and mindful of its environmental impact.

Starting Friday, Oct. 4, the farmers' market will be enriched with “Pan da fogo”: a historic oven built of brick and stone and raised off the ground dating back to the mid-1700s will be lit and made available to all who wish to use it to bake their own home-baked bread.

This is an initiative to recover the ancient tradition of home baking and to share the moment of baking with the rest of the community.

This activity not only enhances the process of self-baking, but also becomes an opportunity to meet other people with the same passion for homemade food, exchange tips, and have an authentic and collective experience.
