IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE WORLD OF VALPOLICELLA WINES THROUGH A TRAVELING TASTING
SATURDAY, APRIL 26 - DiVin Negrar, Tasting in Valpolicella.
Valpolicella Classico, Superiore, Ripasso, Recioto and Amarone: experience their history through a tasting adventure organized by DiVin Negrar.
The route will be divided into six stops through the region's most picturesque vineyards, where qualified sommeliers will guide you through wine tasting. Along the way you will also have the opportunity to taste typical local products.
The day's program includes the following:
Check-in at Via Francia 5 in Negrar di Valpolicella, anytime between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., where you will find convenient parking reserved for the event.
Upon arrival you will receive a complete tasting kit with a practice bag, goblet, tasting card and itinerary map.
Six places will be selected for you to fully experience the essence of our valley:
SANTA MARIA: At the far end of Valpolicella Classica, it overlooks the Adige River and the city of Verona.
MORON: One of the best vineyards in the valley, with gentle slopes heading toward the capital.
IGT STAGE: New for 2025! A stop to discover the imagination of winemakers.
TORBE: A change in elevation that will be felt!
VILLA: You will discover why the Romans chose this very place to settle.
SAN PERETTO: A valley within a valley, this is the place that greets the sun every day on behalf of the people of Negrar.
At each stop you will be able to taste wines from local wineries, exploring the peculiarities and characteristics of each area.
A transportation service will be available with departures every 30 minutes along the entire Negrar food and wine route.
At each stop, two expert sommeliers will accompany you in the tasting of wines offered by local producers: Valpolicella Classico, Superiore, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto.
Included in your ticket, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy a hot dish: the Valponcelli (or Valponsèi), fresh Amarone pasta ravioli filled with braised wild boar, topped with Lessinia butter and Monte Veronese Dop cheese.
